What! You haven't been to
these Seattle festivals yet?

What are you waiting for?

Of all the things to do in Washington, Seattle festivals can be some of the most interesting and entertaining.

Seeing all the people, eating all the awesome food, the smell of the water mixed with the smell of the evergreen trees... It's amazing what your senses can experience being outdoors at one of the many Seattle festivals hosted year round for nearly every kind of taste and interest out there.

Like food? You don't want to miss taking a Bite of Seattle.

What about arts and crafts? Well, Bellevue has you covered there, so you'll want to check out the Bellevue Arts and Crafts festival.

Do you fancy folk music? The Seattle area hosts one of the best folk music festivals around, aptly called the Northwest Folklife Festival.

Want something to check out on the water? Well, for starters there's always the hydroplane races as well as the Christmas boat cruises.

Having fun at the Seattle Tulip Festival

Festivals are a big part of the northwest and Seattle hosts its fair share of some great ones. What's great about these festivals is that a lot of times they are free (some might ask for a small donation) and they are great for the whole family.

Our kids love to go anywhere they can be outside and see people doing things they're not used to seeing.

I mean, hey, they even admitted to liking the Seattle Tulip Festival held a couple hours outside Seattle! Only Seattle can make a flower festival cool for the kids. (Here's some Skagit photos if you want to check it out.)
